is focused on growing the implementation of lean practices in the construction industry by providing educational opportunities and developing a community where anyone with an interest in lean construction can come together to engage in a dialog on best practices, share information, and participate in a broad, coordinated effort to promote and define the use of lean concepts and processes within the construction industry.
The Steering Committee is an active group-meeting 6-8 times a year via teleconference and in-person twice a year in conjunction with other ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ events. Current member backgrounds include general contractors and specialty contractors with interest in Lean implementation, education and promotion.
The current objectives of the over the next few years are to:
- Develop WebEd Content for Membership
- Develop Lean for Trades Toolbox Talks for Membership
- Engage the Forum
- Activate Member Sharing
